10259: Recessed tappet contact

A follower contact is particularly suitable for special requirements where wiring is required between fixed and movable parts. The conical contacts allow smooth movement both vertically and horizontally in equal measure with complete contact reliability.

The contact pins are hard gold-plated, corrosion-free and spring-mounted and thus ensure reliable contact is made, even with low currents and voltages when used in electronic systems, for instance. This model range is available as a mortise or screw-on design in accordance with installation requirements.
